A well-established Gold Coast custom builder who delivers high-end homes, acreage builds and knockdown rebuilds across South East Queensland. They are respected, family-run, and serious about quality — not volume for the sake of volume. We are looking for a senior estimator or Estimating Manager who lives on the Gold Coast and has experience working for an Australian Housing Company. The Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the full estimating function while remaining actively involved in: Preparing detailed BOQs Issuing and managing Purchase Orders Variation pricing during live construction Reviewing architectural, engineering and construction documentation Negotiating with trades and suppliers Managing cost libraries and supplier databases Ensuring compliance with QBCC and NCC requirements Generating cost reports and project analysis You will also mentor a small team and be the person the business relies on for accuracy, structure and commercial control. Ideally, for the role you will need: Senior-level residential estimating experience in QLD Strong Databuild capability (essential) Advanced Excel skills Experience in custom homes (highly regarded) Trade and supplier negotiation confidence This would suit someone currently operating as a Senior Estimator who wants more ownership and influence — without moving into a purely corporate environment. This is an in the office role, Monday to Friday, on-street parking is available around the office.
