Work across a diverse environment focussing on Murray River Reserve and Terrick Terrick National Park Opportunities for personal and professional development in environment and leadership About the role As a Ranger at Parks Victoria, you could be working across a diverse range of tasks and activities, all of which are aimed at preserving our parks, engaging with the community and hands-on maintenance of our facilities. This can include: conservation program delivery maintainance of our infrastructure delivery of education programs engagement with local community groups working with Traditional Owners in joint management arrangements You will be playing a key role in delivering across a variety of projects ad-hoc practical tasks that are essential in keeping our Parks open, safe and clean. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook The incumbent must be available to work weekends and public holidays if required A tertiary qualification in Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable Your application will need to include: A current Resume * A cover letter addressing the following Selection Criteria as outlined in the position description Application Closing date: Wednesday 11th March 2026 About the Team Staff working within the Echuca work centre are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management and park planning.
