This is more than a Financial Controller role. This opportunity offers genuine succession for an ambitious, commercially astute finance leader ready to step into a CFO position within 12–18 months. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will join at a pivotal time of growth and transformation and work alongside an experienced Leadership Team, act as a trusted advisor, and progressively transition into the CFO role as part of a structured and supported succession plan. If you are technically strong, commercially curious, and ready to broaden your strategic influence – this role is designed for you. The Financial Controller will lead the finance function with full accountability for financial control, governance, reporting and compliance, while being mentored and supported to expand your strategic capability. The role will - Lead financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and transactional finance (AP, AR, Payroll) Deliver accurate, insightful and timely reporting to the CEO, ELT and Board Oversee statutory compliance, audit and taxation requirements Strengthen risk management frameworks and financial controls Drive systems optimisation, automation and data-led insights Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team Partner closely with operational leaders to provide commercial decision support across BAU, projects and change initiatives, and Play a key role in shaping the financial future of the organisation, influence and drive meaningful change.
