We are currently looking for motivated Dairy Cattle Farm Operators to join our dynamic team. Job responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain modern dairy milking systems and associated equipment. Observe and monitor livestock health and behavior to facilitate proactive farm management and timely decision-making. Safely operate farm machinery, perform daily equipment checks, report faults promptly, and assist with necessary adjustments, resizing, and minor repairs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date farm records including milk yield data, herd information, and feed inventory. Navigate computerized farm management systems and properly utilize standard measurement devices. Apply an understanding of basic scientific terms and concepts to daily farming tasks. Provide assistance with artificial insemination programs and fertilizer applications as required. Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless daily operations. Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and animal welfare standards. What we are looking for Relevant qualifications and/or practical, hands-on experience in dairy or livestock farming (highly regarded). A strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent time-management skills coupled with a strong attention to detail.
