About the role: We're currently partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a key finance systems uplift initiative. This role will suit someone who brings strong technical delivery capability within finance environments and has hands-on experience with Ariba. This is not a generalist PM position - we're looking for someone who understands finance platforms and vendor-led system transformations. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale finance systems uplift, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, driving accountability, performance, and alignment to key milestones. Establish and maintain strong governance across the program, including reporting, RAID management, financial tracking, and milestone oversight. Collaborate closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and ensure seamless delivery. Translate business needs into clear delivery plans, ensuring technical solutions align with strategic objectives. Skills and Experience: 5 years' demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives as a Senior Technical Project Manager within enterprise environments Strong hands-on experience delivering Ariba initiatives in a finance setting Proven track record leading technology programs within financial services or corporate finance functions Experience managing vendor-led implementations and system transformations Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
