They are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to support kitchen operations across lunch and dinner service, lead the brigade during busy periods, and help maintain strong standards in preparation, flavour, presentation, and service flow. This role is key to ensuring every dish leaving the pass reflects Sporting Legends’ reputation for value, consistency, and memorable dining experiences. Location: 233 York St, Sale, VIC 3850 Salary Range : 75000- 80,000AUD Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of dishes in line with the venue’s menu. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. Support menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and fresh local ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP). Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth operations during service. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen. Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
