Applications for this role are being managed by Ezgi Erdogan‑Frost , Randstad Australia The Asset Maintenance Engineer – Electrical supports the delivery and ongoing development of AAL’s asset management strategy, with a strong focus on the performance, reliability and lifecycle management of electrical assets across Adelaide and Parafield Airports. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining asset management plans for high‑ and low‑voltage electrical infrastructure, airfield lighting and associated control systems, and for informing AAL’s long‑term capital replacement and renewal programs. Working closely with the Facilities Maintenance team, engineering specialists and contractors, the position plays a key role in ensuring electrical assets meet legislative, safety and performance requirements, while supporting efficient, reliable and customer‑focused airport operations. Support the Head of Facilities & Asset Management to facilitate asset performance at optimum level. Develop, implement and review AAL’s asset management plans focused on AAL HV and LV electrical infrastructure, airfield lighting and asset control systems. Lead the coordination of electrical infrastructure (both HV and LV) asset condition monitoring and assessment programs for critical Adelaide and Parafield Airport assets. Support the Engineering Services manager in delivering required levels of service through working with key AAL contractors to improve the control system for the terminal baggage handling system, security systems, building systems and airfield lighting systems. Work closely with the Asset Systems Manager to progress AAL’s Asset Management maturity. Ensure AAL electrical assets condition and associated maintenance activities meet relevant standards and legislative requirements. Support the AAL electrical maintenance team in development, improvement and delivery of an effective electrical maintenance program that supports asset management objectives Assist in management of AAL electrical services contractors. Conduct regular reviews of Technical Maintenance Plans and procedures in alignment with Asset Management Plans ensuring assets meet or exceed the agreed levels of service and required performance metrics. Maintain an accurate, current asset register in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Provide input to the development of an accurate Opex and 20-year capital replacement program aligned to asset management best practice. Conduct whole of life asset condition assessments and performance analysis. Contribute to planning and delivering capital asset replacement programs on an ongoing basis. Support the Head of Facilities and Asset Management with timely reporting. Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions. Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace. Qualifications Essential Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical) or relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in electrical infrastructure asset management Highly numerate with ability to understand commercial, financial and contractual obligations Experienced knowledge of MS Office suite Desirable Demonstrable knowledge of Technology One suite Experience Essential Understanding of asset management and the development and delivery of asset management plans Experience of working in a team managing conflicting demands Proven capability to meet timelines Strong data analysis capability Working knowledge of financial and computerised maintenance management systems Experienced in working with suppliers and contractors Desirable Track record of working in an operational environment with multiple stakeholders
