Expected: Safety Focus: Deep commitment to HSE principles, with experience in risk management and safety compliance Qualifications: Relevant trade certification or engineering degree (e.g., Structural, Mechanical, or Piping). Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, MSIC) is a requirement Experience: 5 years in SMP coordination or supervision, with proven experience in offshore oil and gas or energy projects. Familiarity with large- and small-scale piping installations is essential Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of structural, mechanical, and piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and inspection processes Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive performance in high-pressure offshore environments Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders Qualifications & Tickets: Mechanical Trade Cert (Cert III/Cert IV) BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET/T-FOET CA-EBS – valid within 4 years MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights – valid within 2 years Flange Management Level 1 -3 – valid within 3 years Escape Chute – valid within 4 years (desirable) Desirable: What will set you apart will be proven offshore experience working in a similar role managing and leading the SMP team on FLNG or FPSO facilities.
