About The Role The Project Manager will facilitate implementation of projects based on the approved scope, cost and timelines in line with the methodology as outlined by the PMO. Reporting to the Head of Projects, PMO and CI, your will be required to undertake the following: Understand and use project methodologies to manage and deliver projects. Report on the progress of projects and manage the investment, scope and timeline to meet business objectives. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Challenge the business on requirements (scope) and drive delivery of solutions in line with best business practice. Work closely with the IT department on design and implementation to ensure business requirements are being met. Communicate with internal teams and external customers to deliver functional specifications and task/project commitment. Facilitate and assist in development of instructions and informational/training documentation at a level appropriate for the intended audience. About You You will have proven working experience in project management with minimum 8 years’ experience managing projects of a complex nature/large scope in addition to the following attributes: Knowledge of project management platforms (MS Project or similar). A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills. Understanding of Prince2/PMO methodology. Must be proactive with ability to think ahead, to be a team player and focused on meeting deadlines. Presentation and training skills required. Preferably an accounting or strategic background with experience in business engagement. Demonstrate participation in project environments/ projects. Must be able to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving. Proficiency in MS Office suite including Visio and Project. Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. An effective leader who can motivate their project team.
