About The Opportunity: Overlook the implementation of the construction plan, ensuring all construction activities are controlled and coordinated to UON’s and the Client’s standard while meeting/exceeding quality, time, safety and profit objectives. Implement and maintain clear lines of accountabilities of the project site team. Coach, mentor and actively develop you Senior Supervisors and Site Supervisors to help achieve the goals of the employee and the Business. Engage with all internal personal development programmes for pathway progression and career development. Resource management. Talent acquisition and retention. Succession planning for headcount. Active engagement with all UON site personnel performance management i.e. HR file notes, performance reviews. Ensure daily site diaries and timesheets are completed by Supervision team. Develop and monitor compliance with short range program (SRP) and medium range program (MRP) in line with main contract program. Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, consultants, regulators and key community stakeholders to enhance our reputation and optimise our access to work opportunities. About You: Demonstrated safe delivery of work and commitment to ongoing safety improvement. Maintain personal accountability and hold a sound knowledge of UON’s Business Management System including all policies and procedures. Principles of supervision, training, performance evaluation and professional development. Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills. Sound computer literacy skills. Requirements: Trade qualification and/or experience in building and construction related discipline as required. A minimum of 8 years industry experience working in Supervisory roles. Certificate of WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS) Schedule 26. Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred. White/Blue Card Construction. Current Manual WA C Class Drivers Licence. Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills. Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management. Proven performance on successful projects with an exemplary safety track record. Sound and proven ability and knowledge in construction and project execution.
