YOUR NEW ROLE As a valued graduate/junior lawyer, assisting a number of outstanding senior personal injury specialist partners/lawyers , you will love the varietychallenge satisfaction of actively assisting with stimulating personal injury litigation cases (in any 1 or more of CTP, medical negligence, TPD, public liability, workers compensation and child sex abuse) obtaining justice for injured clients. You will be liaising with clients/doctors/solicitors/insurers, preparing letters/court documents, briefs to counsel, file and diary management, time recording/billing and attending settlement conferences/mediations and court hearings. WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: are a paralegal/law clerk who has graduated from your law degree OR currently doing your PLT OR an admitted junior lawyer (1 month-1.5 years); have MINIMUM 6 months experience or more in personal injury/insurance law OR if no experience have a medical/science/nursing/insurance background or worked in those industries ; have solid academics (credit or above average); have proven ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment; are adaptable results-driven have strong Microsoft Office skills; have outstanding communication, time management people skills; are hungry to learn advance your career in PERSONAL INJURY LAW long-term with a reputable plaintiff law firm [ESSENTIAL].
