YOUR NEW ROLE As a key lawyer of this winning Total & Permanent Disablement/Superannuation/ Insurance Claims team reporting to a top industry leading partner being mentored by the head team leader, you will love helping seriously injured clients obtain justice in respect of their TPD/income protection/trauma insurance claims via their superannuation fund other insurance policies. You will have full-spectrum carriage of your own files-obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim, liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences. WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: are an admitted solicitor in NSW; have MINIMUM 12 months (or more- up to associate) experience in PERSONAL INJURY LAW including minimum 12 months specifically managing your own TPD (total permanent disablement) cases making claims via superannuation funds/insurance policies either working in a law firm OR in-house for an insurer or super fund; have strong legal research skills, are client-centric and deadline driven; love to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment; are ambitioushave a keen interest in personal injury law including TPD (essential) and willing/able to commit long-term to an employer that is committed to your success.
