Full-Stack Software Engineer AI-Native Hardware Design Platform | End-to-End Product Ownership | Exclusive Retained Search Cadence Connect has been exclusively retained to appoint a Full-Stack Engineer for a high-growth, venture-backed technology company building an AI-native platform for digital hardware design. This is not a feature-factory role. This is a “build the product” role. You will work directly with the founders and core engineering team to take a complex, AI-driven platform from MVP through to production, owning features end-to-end across frontend, backend, data, integration, and deployment. The role You will be responsible for building and integrating the entire product application across multiple deployment modes: Hosted cloud environments Customer-controlled sovereign environments On-prem deployments Air-gapped installations This platform transforms design intent into verified hardware outputs through automated workflows. Your job is to make that capability usable, reliable, and elegantly delivered. You will own features encompassing the full cycle, includingRequirements → Implementation → Integration → QA → Deployment → Monitoring This is a real ownership role. What will you be doing? End-to-End Product Development Designing, building and shipping complete features to production Making pragmatic architectural decisions that maintain velocity without creating unnecessary technical debt Turning rough ideas into working features quickly and refining them through real-world feedback Frontend Building complex, responsive React interfaces Designing workflows for long-running compute jobs (progress states, retries, partial results, failure recovery) Creating intuitive UX for project setup, orchestration, artefact review and results comparison Building interactive workflow surfaces where required Backend & APIs Developing backend services and stable, versioned APIs Designing durable data models (projects, runs, artefacts, templates, metadata) Implementing secure, safe-by-default patterns Integrating with long-running execution workflows Deployment & Reliability Shipping across cloud and controlled customer environments Working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines Adding observability (logs, metrics, tracing) Troubleshooting production issues and improving reliability and performance over time What experience must you bring? Strong JavaScript / TypeScript Strong React experience Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, Go or similar) API design and development PostgreSQL or MySQL schema design Docker and container-based development Experience deploying to AWS, GCP or Azure You will be highly adaptable, comfortable moving between frontend, backend and deployment at speed. Your pragmatic problem-solving mindset will compliment your ability to comfortably operate, in a habitat that is (at times) ambiguous and aligned with fast iteration cycles.
