Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the role of Director, Education Partnerships and Pathways. In this pivotal role, you will drive the University’s major education partnerships and pathways, expanding student access and supporting Swinburne’s growth and innovation agenda. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Program Innovation), you will lead the strategic development, management, and performance monitoring of key education partnerships – ensuring alignment with university priorities, compliance standards, and quality outcomes. You’ll play a central role in shaping policy, overseeing contracts, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. From guiding new opportunities to refining existing partnerships, your leadership will ensure governance integrity, educational excellence, and long-term sustainability. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Demonstrated understanding of education partnerships, with experience managing teaching delivery to achieve desired outcomes within a complex organization Demonstrated effectiveness in driving strong outcomes in partnership delivery and operations Proven experience in managing a range of administrative and service functions related to higher education Advanced skills in negotiation and problem solving with a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm to achieve results. Experience in motivating and leading staff to performance objectives.
