Regional Operations Manager – Retirement Living Full-time Camberwell, VIC About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Regional Opertions Manager – Retirement Living to lead a portfolio of Retirement Villages and inspire high-performing Village Managers across Victoria and Tasmania. In this senior leadership role, you’ll drive operational excellence, build leadership and financial capability, ensure legislative compliance, and partner closely with Sales to boost occupancy and customer outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in new village developments, from feasibility through to commissioning. Key Responsibilities Providing leadership and operational oversight of a regional portfolio of Retirement Villages Coaching, mentoring, and developing Village Managers through structured leadership and financial capability programs Overseeing village budgets, financial reporting, and commercial performance Ensuring compliance with legislative, contractual, and organisational requirements Leading the development and implementation of consistent, evidence-based systems, policies, and processes Partnering closely with Sales teams to drive occupancy, align priorities, and deliver a seamless customer journey Championing customer experience through resident-focused services, feedback mechanisms, and quality assurance Contributing to new village developments from feasibility through to commissioning Building strong internal and external relationships, including with industry bodies and regulators About You You’re a confident, values-driven leader with a strong background in Retirement Living or a related sector. You balance commercial acumen with empathy, and you’re passionate about developing people, improving systems, and creating communities where residents feel heard and supported. You’ll bring: A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Real Estate, Retirement Living, or a related discipline Strong industry knowledge with a minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a relevant role Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills Financial capability, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to customer experience Essential requirements: Qualifications in Business, real estate, Retirement Living or similar 5 years’ experience at a management level in a related role Willingness to undertake a National Police Check (renewed every 3 years) Willingness to undertake a medical assessment Hold a current driver’s licence and own a reliable vehicle Full and ongoing right to work in Australia About us We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
