This is a full-time, locally based role offering stable work within a well-established and safety-focused organisation. About the Role In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for surface preparation and protective coating application across a range of steel and hard composition assets, ensuring all work meets specification and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out surface preparation, including blasting, to specified profiles and tolerances Apply industrial coatings using spray and brush techniques Interpret and follow painting and blasting specifications Maintain painting equipment, blasting machinery, and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition Manage paints and consumables, reporting shortages to supervision Provide support and guidance to apprentices and Trades Assistants Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Local residency within the South West region Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Industrial Painting/Blasting or demonstrated relevant experience (Conventional / airless) Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport Work at Heights, Confined Space & EWP tickets Forklift and Dogging/Rigging tickets (desirable but not essential) Ability to perform manual work and pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening A strong safety mindset, reliability, and a solid work ethic What We Offer: Discounted Private Health Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Excellent remuneration, conditions, and benefits Income Protection Insurance Life Insurance Paid Parental Leave benefits Salary Sacrifice options available Corporate Discounts with more than 500 retailers.
