About the role The primary function of this multifaceted position will be customer service (both internal and external) and ensures the correct supply of required goods and services for the dispensary and hospital as a whole. This role is being offered as part-time (Part time 22.5 hours per week) and requires availability across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – some additional flexibility may be required. You’ll be responsible for: Conveying information on pharmacy products to clients Assisting with client enquires about prescribed medication Giving advice regarding over-the-counter animal care products Managing inventory, including purchase and supply Assisting with stocktake Updating pricing as required and ensuring items are billed out at the correct price Providing training and education to the team on policies, procedures and processes About you Your engaging and helpful manner will help deliver a high level of customer service at all times. You will have a clear and empathic style of communication, able to convey information to clients and staff. You’ll also have Experience working in a pharmacy or dispensary Demonstrated experience in high-volume customer service Proven ability to work in a team in a busy, demanding environment Experience in training nurses or clinical teams on dispensary procedures Cert IV in Veterinary nursing or equivalent (desired, but not essential) An understanding of current veterinary nursing and hospital practices (desired, but not essential) Demonstrated ability to show initiative and innovation What we offer A purpose-driven organisation with a genuine community impact Employee wellbeing programs and highly regarded Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
