As a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of engineering projects of varying complexity. You’ll apply strong technical capability, sound engineering judgement, and a proactive mindset to meet client and project requirements. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, designers, and external stakeholders, ensuring high‑quality output, adherence to Australian Standards, and the successful delivery of engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Apply engineering principles to deliver high‑quality designs, documentation, specifications, and reports Assist in planning and executing engineering projects within scope, budget, and timelines Liaise with drafters, architects, builders, and services engineers to resolve design issues Review and check work produced by junior engineers when required Ensure compliance with relevant Codes, WHS practices, and internal quality standards Contribute to resource planning for small projects or sections of larger projects Identify and implement innovative approaches to solve complex engineering challenges Support continuous improvement across processes, systems, and design methodologies Essential criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Minimum 1 year of engineering experience Member of Engineers Australia Knowledge of BCA and relevant Australian Standards Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise workload and meet project deadlines Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability Intermediate MS Office skills Desirable: Progressing toward Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status To express your interest, please email your CV to ashish.bhetwal@chandlermacleod.com Or simply click the "Apply Now" button.
