We are seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to join our NSW Engineering team. This is a high-impact, permanent role for a technical all-rounder who thrives on complexity and modern architecture. You will be the technical lead on diverse projects, a mentor to our engineering staff, and a specialist in Modern Device Management and Cloud Security. Provide services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies delivering excellence in Windows and/or Apple focused technology services. Manage end point software installation and licensing and end user device setup and transfer. Act as an escalation point, assisting with mentoring of other engineers and providing hands on support when required. Provide general application support, troubleshooting of network connectivity issues, user account creations and deletions, create file sharing connections. Documenting time and technical information into our ticketing systems and client information tools. What you’ll bring from an experience perspective? 10–12 years in the IT industry, with the last 5 years focused exclusively on Cloud and mobile device management. Previous MSP experience is essential. Deep expertise in setting up and managing Intune and Jamf Pro, including application packaging, configuration/compliance policies, and documentation. Experience with SCCM or Samsung KNOX is highly desirable. Mastery of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and the Office 365 suite. Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, NPS, IIS, and PowerShell scripting. High proficiency across Windows, macOS, Linux (any distro), and iOS/iPadOS. Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V, alongside backup solutions like Veeam, Datto, or Azure Backup. A solid understanding of the ACSC Essential Eight framework within the Australian MSP/Government landscape. What you’ll bring on a personal and skill-based level?
