As a result of our continued growth, Georgiou is seeking a dedicated Senior HR Advisor with Major Project experience to join the team. This hands-on, project-based role will partner with project leaders and teams to deliver high-quality HR support, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and foster a positive, high-performance culture. With a strong focus on project HR, IR/ER, and stakeholder management, you'll work closely with leaders and employees to drive meaningful people outcomes. In this role, you will: • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior project leaders across a large-scale civil infrastructure project. • Provide expert advice on HR, IR/ER and employment legislation in a unionised environment. • Lead complex ER case management including investigations, grievances, disputes and performance management. • Coach and influence leaders to strengthen capability in leadership, engagement and change management. • Drive workforce planning, mobilisation and recruitment transitions in partnership with central Talent teams. • Support remuneration reviews, salary benchmarking and workforce cost planning. • Deliver workforce reporting and HR analytics to inform commercial and governance outcomes. • Ensure compliance with legislative, client and government training requirements (including Priority Start and sustainability frameworks). • Strengthen workforce capability through succession planning, development initiatives and engagement programs. • Partner with external training providers to deliver compliant, cost-effective training solutions. • Provide leadership and direction to direct report(s) within the project HR function. • Contribute to a positive, high-performing project culture aligned to Georgiou and STRABAG values. About You • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline. • Demonstrated experience delivering HR support on major civil or infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements. • Proven experience managing complex ER/IR matters within unionised, blue-collar environments. • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-value project settings with large workforces. • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project-based workforce cost drivers. • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability. • High levels of discretion, resilience and sound judgement. • Experience leading or mentoring HR team members on major projects. Highly regarded: • Experience on major state infrastructure or MRWA-aligned projects. • Experience within Alliance or Joint Venture delivery environments.
