Multi-faceted precinct style venue Top tier group for culture & progression Salary flexiblity for right candidate The Role Reporting directly to the Licensee, you will oversee all aspects of the venue's day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining premium service standards, ensuring operational compliance, and leading a large team across food, beverage, and gaming environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee all service periods across the venue, ensuring smooth, efficient operations Maintain high standards across bar, dining, gaming, and cellar operations Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly Ensure the venue is consistently presented to a high standard across all areas Monitor compliance with RSA and all regulatory requirements Manage daily cash handling, floats, and reconciliation of takings Support rostering, stock control, and general operational administration Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and staff Foster a positive, high-energy team culture focused on performance and guest experience About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience as a Venue Operations Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, or senior 2IC within a high-volume hospitality environment Strong knowledge across food & beverage service, bar operations, gaming and cellar management Current RSA, RCG, ARCG and First Aid certifications Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple service areas at once A confident leadership style with clear communication and a hands-on approach Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays What's On Offer Competitive salary package ($95K-$110K Super) Staff discounts across a growing group of venue Ongoing training and development programs Clear progression pathways within a multi-venue hospitality group, that has one of the best reputations in the city for genuine internal progression (they hate hiring over the top)!
