Access to generous discounts and extra monetary benefits Up to 4 paid wellness days and 2 volunteer days annually ABOUT THE ROLE This position is responsible for providing strong technical and people leadership within a Solution Delivery team to deliver reliable, high-quality technology-enabled products, services, and solutions across assigned domains for SG Fleets’ customers, suppliers, and stakeholders across ANZ and, where required, globally. It is also responsible for offering architectural guidance and technical oversight to ensure the consistent delivery of valuable business outcomes are aligned with SG Fleets architecture and engineering standards. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and support technical team members, modelling effective people leadership that fosters a high-performing, collaborate, and growth-focused team culture. Develop strong customer, product, and business understanding, ensuring your team is equipped to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs, align with business priorities, and operate within organisational constraints. Provide end-to-end technical leadership and ownership across the domains, products, and solutions your team delivers including solution feasibility, architecture, design, build, testing, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancement, SecDevOps, FinOps, and non-functional requirements. Drive the development of the team's technical capability and ways of working ensuring alignment with SG Fleet’s engineering practices and collaborating closely with Practice Leads and the Senior Manager, Platforms and Engineering. Ensure consistent, predictable, and high-quality technical delivery, enabling the Manager, Solution Delivery and other stakeholders to effectively plan and manage scope, cost and timelines. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of delivery methodologies, frameworks, tools, policies, standards, and processes, actively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent. Relevant post-graduate or industry qualifications and certifications (technical and non-technical). Significant technical skills and experience in complex, heterogeneous enterprise environments. Solid prior leadership experience in an enterprise setting. Extensive experience in the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects. Extensive experience designing and building modern cloud and microservice based architectures. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Capability to coach and develop people to reach their full potential. Experience in managing and negotiating with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. Demonstrable progress in use of Generative AI in both software engineering processes and enabling innovative technical solutions is desirable.
