Reporting to the Head of Purposeful Living, you will guide and support Spiritual Care Coordinators while partnering with leaders, clinicians, staff, volunteers, and faith representatives. You will: • Lead and strengthen pastoral and spiritual care across the organisation • Ensure alignment with the Meaningful Ageing Australia Spiritual Care Guidelines and the Catholic Health Australia Code of Ethical Standards • Promote healing, wholeness, and dignity for residents, clients, families, and staff • Support liturgical celebrations and sacramental life • Provide formation, supervision, and mentorship to pastoral care teams • Foster collaboration between spiritual care, clinical teams, and community services If you are called to lead with faith, integrity, and heart and to help create communities of meaning and hope we invite you to walk this journey with us. What we require • Tertiary qualifications in pastoral services (Essential). • Minimum 5 years post graduate experience. • At least 3 years providing pastoral care in aged care or a similar health environment. • At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role. • Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and evaluating pastoral, wellbeing, or spiritual programs. • Experience leading evidence-based practice improvements and projects. • Certified in professional supervision of pastoral carers in a clinical environment (Desirable).
