Requirements About the opportunity Due to a rapidly expanding portfolio of projects, CV Infrastructure Design is looking at expanding our electrical commercial & industrial design team. The role requires relevant years of experience that would enable you to be responsible for management on Energex Major, Large & non-contestable Customer Connection projects and designs. This experience would include an in-depth understanding of current Energex & Australian standard requirements and processes. Competency in the use of electrical CAD programmes such as AutoCAD 2D is sought also, familiarity preparing documentation to Energex standards. Good communication skills for customer interaction, both written and oral, is mandatory. Duties: Program, plan and manage the production of concept and detailed designs for Energex MCC/LCC/NCC projects. Liaise with internal Construction Project Managers, design team and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure that all necessary reviews, verifications, and validations are planned & conducted, and the outcomes of these are incorporated into the design. Ensure that the design conforms to all safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements with the assistance of our quality and RPEQ team. Monitor and control design costs within budget and liaise with the construction project manager in relation to any design changes Monitor external design resources to ensure that the elements of their design (including verification) are coordinated with overall design, procurement, and construction requirements CV Infrastructure Design is an exciting, fast paced environment with a highly motivated team to succeed and are looking forward to bringing in new team members to challenge and grow our capabilities.
