We offer a casual contract with consistent workload with our team at Mugga Lane, ACT Early starts from 6:00am to 7:30am, with shifts up to 10 hours per day Monday to Friday rotating roster - every second Sunday is required Fitness Passport membership, enjoy access to gyms and fitness facilities across the country Why you’ll love working here Safety-first environment where your wellbeing is the priority Stay local and sleep in your own bed every night Career development opportunities and a role with real variety What you’ll be doing Operating a range of machinery across landfill to manage and compact waste, including dozers and compactors Performing laboring and clean-up duties Handling incoming waste: stockpiling, compacting, and processing materials Screening and sorting waste to ensure correct disposal Inspecting customer loads and managing different waste streams What you’ll bring Current driver license and experience is essential Ticket and experience with dozer and compactor Hands-on experience as a plant operator; landfill or waste facility is preferred Willingness to work in a hands-on environment Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety Who we are REMONDIS Australia is part of a global leader in sustainable waste and water management.
