AO6 Site Representative Woodford Youth Detention Centre $79.17 per hour superannuation Initial contract to 28th August 2026 likely ongoing extension About the Role A fantastic opportunity is available for a Site Representative to support the delivery of construction projects at the Woodford Youth Detention Centre. This role contributes to ensuring all site activities meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards, while supporting project objectives and maintaining strong working relationships across project teams. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship quality and adherence to project specifications, legislation, and safety protocols. Identify and document defects, non‑conformances, safety issues and environmental controls, and prepare detailed reports with recommended corrective actions. Assist in verifying compliance, support the review of build documentation, defect lists and asset management information during handover and commissioning. Identify additional defects for rectification and review completed works to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records and registers. Support safe and efficient site management including safety audits and environmental controls aligned with legislation and project plans. Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with managing contractors, project teams, and stakeholders. Requirements: Trade or tertiary qualification in a construction‑related discipline. Proven experience managing contractors or overseeing site activities. Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, environmental controls and building regulations. Excellent communication, reporting and problem‑solving skills. Highly desirable skills: Commitment to workplace health and safety. Experience with Aconex. Valid driver’s licence.
