Our client is a prominent national construction and property development group with a track record of delivering landmark commercial projects. Recognised for their technical expertise and strategic partnerships, they are currently recruiting a new role as 2IC to the CFO. Seeking a Finance Business Partner to support their commercial and operational divisions. This is a hands-on, highly visible role suited to a personable and driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Business Partnership: Collaborate directly with the CFO and Operational leads to provide financial insights, manage forecasting/budgeting, and deliver monthly performance dashboards. Financial Accounting & WIP: Manage the end-to-end EOM process for specific business units, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and critical WIP (Work in Progress) adjustments. Operational Support: Manage project and vendor setups within the ERP environment, ensuring data integrity and contributing to continuous process improvement. The Successful Candidate Will Possess: Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional membership (CA/CPA) is highly regarded. Industry Experience: Proven experience within Construction, Engineering, or Project-based industries highly regarded, with a solid understanding of project-based accounting. Systems Knowledge: Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Stakeholder Management: The ability to build rapport with everyone from site-based project managers to the executive leadership team.
