Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Drafting Checker to join their high-performing drafting and pre-construction team. This is a critical role focused on documentation accuracy, compliance and buildability — ensuring homes are issued to site correctly the first time. The Role Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing working drawings and associated documentation prior to issue for construction. You will act as the final quality control checkpoint across architectural, structural and consultant documentation. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing working drawings for accuracy, completeness and coordination Ensuring compliance with NCC, ResCode (VIC), developer guidelines and council requirements Cross-checking architectural plans against engineering, energy reports and specifications Identifying discrepancies and issuing mark-ups for correction Ensuring documentation aligns with company standards, product ranges and variations Liaising with drafting, estimating, pre-site and construction teams to resolve issues About You Previous experience in residential drafting or drafting checking (volume building preferred) Strong knowledge of NCC and Victorian building regulations Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Sound understanding of residential construction methods Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Why Join?
