We are partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking organisation that is investing heavily in its customer data and marketing technology capability. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Retail Media Data Platform & Martech Solutions Lead to take ownership of their customer data ecosystem and help shape the next phase of their data-driven marketing strategy. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, marketing technology, and advanced analytics. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable data flows, strong governance, and scalable architecture while enabling highly personalised customer engagement. What you will be responsible for Own and optimise the Customer Data Platform and broader Martech ecosystem Oversee integrations across CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and external platforms Act as technical owner for event pipelines, monitoring schema and delivery performance Establish and enforce data governance practices aligned with privacy and security standards Lead the architecture and management of the common data layer, ensuring clean and reliable datasets Partner with marketing teams to drive audience strategy, segmentation, and campaign activation Build data models and dashboards to generate meaningful insights into customer behaviour Manage tagging and tracking frameworks across key analytics tools Serve as the internal subject matter expert while promoting best practice and continuous improvement What we are looking for Proven experience working with Customer Data Platforms and modern data warehouses Strong SQL capability and experience with data modelling and ETL processes Familiarity with tools such as Segment, Tealium, Braze, GA4, GTM, or similar Solid understanding of identity resolution, audience activation, and campaign attribution Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Track record of improving data quality, governance, and platform performance Exposure to ecommerce or media environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
