Job Description Develop and implement end-to-end volunteer recruitment and strategies. Maintain compliance with National Standards for Volunteer Involvement, WHS obligations, Fair Work guidance and all screening requirements (NPC, WWCC). Support and manage volunteer engagement initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate the success of volunteer programs. Prepare reports and provide updates to the management team. Address any concerns or issues raised by volunteers effectively. The Successful Applicant A successful Volunteer Specialist should have: Experience in volunteer management, HR, community engagement or a related field. A relevant qualification in human resources, community services, or a related field. Strong understanding of volunteer best practice, rights and responsibilities. Knowledge of WHS, Fair Work and screening compliance relating to volunteers. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and training delivery skills. Ability to self‑manage, prioritise and operate autonomously. High level of cultural awareness and commitment to inclusive practice. A valid driver's licence. A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required. Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills (Excel essential).
