About the Role Our client, AUS BUILD TECH, is seeking an experienced Welder to join their established team. This is a full-time permanent position offering excellent opportunities for career development in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and develop effective workflow processes Select, prepare, clean and cut materials to specifications according to project blueprints and drawings Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on metal sections and parts in compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and quality control requirements Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment safely and efficiently Use cutting equipment including metal laser, shear/beam shear, and guillotine equipment Shape, bend and form metal sections to meet standard and customized client specifications Assemble metal parts and sections to create measured assemblies Conduct thorough quality checks during and after welding to ensure project standards Complete finishing processes including cleaning, polishing, filing, and acid bathing of finished welds Repair and replace worn components through welding and fabrication techniques Maintain consistent high standards of workmanship to produce quality and accurate results Perform additional duties as required by supervisory staff and management Essential Requirements Qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering (Metal Fabrication Trade) – ESSENTIAL Certificate IV in Engineering OR Diploma of Engineering (or related qualification) Experience: Minimum 1 years of relevant welding and fabrication experience Demonstrated experience with manual and semi-automatic welding equipment Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints and drawings Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks Australian work rights essential What Our Client Offers Competitive salary of $75,000 – $80,000 per annum Superannuation contributions Full-time permanent employment Opportunities for professional development Stable work environment with established company Applications: Please respond to the recruiters through the site and ensure you attach an updated resume.
