Are you a passionate and experienced Care Manager ready to lead with purpose in a values-driven aged care organisation? Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a committed Registered Nurse to take on a shared Care Manager role across our Avonlea and Coates homes. This is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight), working Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support operational needs where required. This unique opportunity will see you working 5 days per fortnight at Avonlea and 5 days per fortnight at Coates. The successful candidate will be allocated a base home (based on residential location), with travel reimbursement provided when working at the alternate site. The Opportunity The Care Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence across two homes. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for: Planning, allocating, delegating and overseeing resident care delivery in accordance with clinical best practice Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical policies, and legislative requirements Leading, mentoring and supporting nursing and care teams to deliver excellence in care Overseeing care planning, documentation, assessments and funding requirements Contributing to accreditation processes, audits and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting effective resource management, including staffing and budget considerations Fostering a positive, collaborative team environment across both sites You will play a pivotal role in strengthening clinical governance, driving quality outcomes, and supporting teams to deliver person-centred care. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA registration Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential aged care Previous nursing leadership or management experience Strong clinical assessment skills and contemporary best practice knowledge Sound understanding of aged care legislation, Quality Standards, and funding requirements Experience contributing to accreditation and quality improvement processes Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements Why Respect?
