We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Dimboola, as a GP in our clinic; you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our community. Responsibilities: Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and perform clinical assessments to diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and injuries in a primary care setting. Plan, implement, and monitor medical treatments, including prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and reviewing patient outcomes in accordance with accepted medical standards. Provide preventative and community-based healthcare services, including health risk assessments, immunisations, screening programs, and health education to reduce disease burden. Refer patients to medical specialists, hospitals, and allied health professionals where further investigation or specialised treatment is required, and coordinate ongoing patient care. Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and legislative requirements governing medical practice in Australia.
