The Role A full-time position is available for a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our growing team in Officer. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced workshop environment. As part of your duties & responsibilities, you will: Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications Cut, weld, assemble, and finish steel components to required standards Operate fabrication equipment including welders, presses, grinders, and cutting tools Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and Australian Standards requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in compliance with OH&S regulations Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines The Applicant You must take pride in your trade and also: Hold a relevant qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent) Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant metal fabrication experience Demonstrate strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG experience preferred) Possess solid knowledge of workplace safety and OH&S requirements Be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Benefits Salary: AUD 75,000 – 85,000 per annum superannuation Stable full-time employment with consistent hours Supportive team environment and opportunity for long-term growth
