The Opportunity The corporate tax team are seeking a dedicated and committed Corporate Tax Manager to join and lead a growing team of Consultants from Grad-Senior level as they navigate ongoing increase in work. Located in fresh new Perth CBD office space, the firm provide their staff with everything required to enjoy an enriched work/life career. The successful applicant will gain exposure to a range of tax advisory and compliance matters for clients across a variety of industries, including but not limited to the resources industry. Key responsibilities:- Advise optimal tax position for client on complex transactions Provide verbal and written advice on tax related matters Calculate tax obligations for different business structures including companies, trusts and partnership entities Advise on tax reform Advise on indirect taxes Advise on international taxation transactions Advise on the planning opportunities for various business transactions Delivers division or firm-wide training when required Assist in mentoring and coaching of junior and employees and participate in the graduate program Review junior employee’s job before submission and provide feedback if required Build strong relationship with allocated clients and become their first point of contact The Successful Applicant To be considered for this position you will possess the following: Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Commerce, with an Accounting or Finance major; Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent; 5 years’ experience in providing Corporate Tax advice is desirable with 1 year in managerial role; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and Strong organisational and time management skills.
