12-Month Day Rate Contract | Major Infrastructure Business Large, high-impact infrastructure company Mix of financial control, partnering and month-end financial reporting Key role supporting lease accounting and process optimisation The Company This organisation is a major national infrastructure provider with a vast operational footprint. The finance function oversees one of the country’s largest lease portfolios, covering more than 15,000 agreements across buildings, land, licences, equipment and essential services. The Role Sitting within the Fixed Assets & Capital Management team, this role manages a $500m annual lease payment base and a $2b RoU asset and liability portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead end-to-end lease management, ensure IFRS16 compliance and drive ongoing optimisation of lease reporting, data, systems and controls. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all lease accounting and financial reporting, including RoU assets, lease liabilities and master data integrity Deliver accurate operational, management and statutory lease reporting with actionable insights Manage onshore and offshore lease administration teams to ensure controls, SLAs, KPIs and process documentation remain robust Lead systems and process enhancements, including RPA, automation and workflow optimisation across lease lifecycle management Act as SME for internal stakeholders, resolving escalations and ensuring quality of contracts and data governance Support major system upgrades and enterprise projects, ensuring reporting continuity and IFRS16 compliance About You CA/CPA qualified with 5 years’ experience in financial control or month-end delivery roles Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, especially lease accounting (AASB/ IFRS 16) Proven ability to lead processes, engage stakeholders and improve controls Experience working in large, complex organisations or infrastructure environments is advantageous Available immediately or at short notice Next steps: If the role interests you, please click on the 'Apply' button now and share your latest CV.
