A respected canola processing operation producing highquality canola oil from their Cressy based facility, they have a small and dedicated handson team and operate within a highly technical plant environment where versatility, teamwork and strong leadership are essential. As the business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the safe and efficient running of the site. Your new role As Site Manager, you will oversee the daytoday operation of the plant across three rotating shifts. You will provide leadership and support to a small team of shift operators, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining plant reliability, safety and compliance. This is a handson leadership role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automated processing systems and the confidence to troubleshoot issues in a fastpaced environment. You will work closely with operations, maintenance and contractors to ensure the plant operates smoothly around the clock. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, youll need: HR truck licence Strong mechanical and maintenance skills Experience in a process plant or industrial environment Ability to operate and troubleshoot PLCbased automation Strong organisational, communication and people management skills Demonstrated initiative and sound decisionmaking ability OHS awareness and a current First Aid Certificate Flexibility to work across different functional areas Ideally, you will also have experience in food processing, oilseed crushing or similar industries and leadership experience in a 24hour production environment.
