Civil Design Engineer Your new company A wellestablished and respected engineering consultancy with a strong presence in Northern Tasmania is continuing to grow its Launceston operation. With a solid pipeline of multidisciplinary projects across building, infrastructure and land development, they are now seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to strengthen their local team. Your new role Based in the Launceston office, you will play a key role delivering a broad range of civil engineering projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external authorities, you will take ownership of design outcomes while contributing to project delivery and team leadership.Key responsibilities include: Detailed civil engineering design across building projects, road design and subdivisions Site supervision activities, including QAV inspections for civil contractors Internal project management of civil projects, working with a collaborative and cohesive team Liaison with local authorities, including local councils and government-owned entities. Contributing to highquality, compliant and practical design solutions What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Current Australian civil engineering design experience Strong experience delivering civil design for buildings, roads and land development projects Exposure to DRAINS and MUSIC stormwater modelling software Current knowledge of Tasmanian local authority requirements Confidence working autonomously while supporting junior team members Excellent communication skills and a practical, deliveryfocused mindset What you'll get in return Youll join a stable and growing consultancy that values technical excellence, teamwork and longterm career development.
