Initial 6-12 month assignments Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Canberra offices Minimum baseline clearance Green Light is looking for assistance in technical expertise for an industry-leading organisation and has a rare and immediate requirement for a talented Azure Data Engineers (baseline) to join our team. These consultants can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide or Brisbane locations. This Subject Matter Expert will be part of a technical capability responsible for providing technical guidance of to this growing organisation – providing expert advice on best practices for an evolving Microsoft solution partner and assist them with an Azure data - Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Azure Fuctions etc. The main responsibility of these Azure Data Engineers will be to assist the end customer with managing their current data and assisting with data migrations. The ideal person will have a wide breadth of implementation experience with large integrators and/or enterprise clients. The role will be diverse working as a primary contact for international business stakeholders providing technical expertise regarding the establishment of improvement frameworks & business processes. This role does require an active AGSVA baseline clearance at a minimum . Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered. Responsibilities: Technically advanced Azure Data Engineer will with deep experience and knowledge in Azure Data Factory (ADF) Passion and track record of consulting and solutioning with a Devops methodology Provide advice on improving and establishing Microsoft best practice across all facets of the organisation Establishing frameworks, templates, business processes, runbooks, script etc Expertise/SME of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Azure SQL MI & Azure SQL VM & PostgreSQL Experienced in managing the data migration from legacy environments into Azure cloud environments Automation and configuration management Maintain, update, create Policies for the Azure platform Adhere to IT Security architectural principles and framework Fully ultilise your knowledge of Azure services like Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Factory to optimize data storage, access, and orchestration within the data platform. Requirements: Broad and extensive Azure and migrations into Azure cloud environments Experience with migrations, cloud transformations and readiness assessments Expertise across M365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Azure etc Background in virtualisation technologies Databases – Azure SQL Databases including single and Managed Instances, Azure DB Migration Service Strong communication skills and experience with end customers Active NV1 clearance is preferred, minimum requirement is Australian Citizen holding an active baseline clearance Apply Now!
