Trades & Services Trades - Other Sydney Casual 26/2/2026 $50 per hour Penalties Full time and Part time options Monday-Friday, long term We are seeking experienced Fitters and Welder/Fabricators to join well‑established manufacturing sites located in Smithfield and Ingleburn. With ongoing maintenance, repair, and project work, this role offers stability, variety, and strong long-term prospects. Full-time positions are available at both sites, with part-time opportunities offered for suitable applicants. About the Role You will be responsible for: Performing maintenance, repairs, and breakdown work on factory equipment Troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting routine maintenance Inspecting and testing equipment to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions Collaborating with team members to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities Welder/Fabricator responsibilities may also include: Fabrication and welding of components Assisting with fitting tasks and plant maintenance What We’re Looking For Trade Qualification – Fitter or Welder/Fabricator Previous maintenance and repair experience Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical High-risk licences (forklift, confined space, etc.) – desirable Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills We welcome applications from candidates across all experience levels.
