The company provides design, manufacture, project coordination, logistics, installation, and maintenance services for a wide range of commercial signage projects, including shopfronts, wayfinding, safety signage, exhibitions, displays, and large multi-site rollouts. Working closely with clients, suppliers, installers, and internal teams, GM Lab Group supports projects from initial concept through to final installation. About the Role We are seeking a Project Officer to coordinate signage and fit-out projects at a national level. This is a full-time, ongoing role based at GM Lab Group’s head office, supporting the smooth delivery of projects through strong organisation, documentation, and communication. Tasks and Responsibilities Manage documentation regarding signage and fit-out projects from planning through to installation Oversee projects costs, scheduling, timelines, and progress tracking Coordinate communication between internal teams, suppliers, installers, and contractors Provide guidance to the General Manager on key issues related to project execution Supervise contractors’ activities and documenting any amendments to agreed work scopes. Draft and evaluating proposals as well as prepare reports, correspondence, and general project documentation Support procurement processes, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost tracking Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is up to date Skills and Experience Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role Strong organisational and time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment Proficiency with office software (e.g. Microsoft Office and similar tools) High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Qualifications Relevant diploma-level qualification or a related field is highly regarded What We Offer Full-time, ongoing employment Opportunity to work within a growing Australian signage and fit-out business Exposure to a wide range of commercial projects Supportive and collaborative team environment
