Reporting to the Content Management Lead, you’ll play a key role in documenting Australia’s history and ensuring it remains accessible for generations to come. As part of a collaborative national Content Navigation team, you’ll work closely with journalists and producers to make ABC content easy to find, share, and reuse across platforms. Your day will be varied: managing metadata, maintaining digital archives, and supporting daily editorial output to keep the ABC’s rich content accurate, discoverable, and ready to bring stories to life. You’ll also assist with content appraisal and retention, support migration across systems such as Stratus, and CoDA, and contribute to improving metadata quality and consistency across news workflows. This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, working on site at both Ultimo and Parramatta ABC offices, with two rostered offsite days per week . Qualifications or equivalent experience in Library, Archives, Information Management, or Broadcasting. Strong understanding of content management and metadata principles, applied across a range of digital media formats. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maintain accuracy under pressure.
