As a Risk & Assurance Specialist in Civeo’s HSQE Leadership Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Civeo delivers safe, compliant, high‑quality operations across our villages. Your work will help leaders understand risk, improve systems, and build a culture where smart assurance practices support our people, our clients, and our business. This role is central to maturing our risk, governance, and assurance frameworks across Health, Safety, Quality, Environment, Food Safety and Training. You’ll design better ways of working, simplify processes, and provide senior-level visibility that helps us meet both regulatory obligations and client expectations. This is a full-time permanent role, with regular travel required across WA operations. The Role • Strengthen governance, risk management, and assurance capability across operations • Maintain and oversee HSQE, Food Safety, and Training risk registers, audit programs, and compliance frameworks • Lead the development of scalable, system-based assurance tools & dashboards • Provide central oversight of compliance performance and corrective actions • Improve data integrity and reporting accuracy across systems • Support client audits and contractual compliance requirements • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational usability • Provide specialist guidance to Health and Safety Managers and operational leaders • Monitor emerging legislation, risks, and industry best practice in Food Safety & HSQE • Contribute to the delivery of the HSQE Operational Improvement Plan Skills and Experience • Tertiary qualification in WHS, Risk, Quality or related discipline • ICAM qualification; auditor qualifications (ISO 45001 desirable) • Experience in HSQE risk management, governance, compliance, or systems-focused roles • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and due diligence obligations • Demonstrated experience managing audits, compliance monitoring, and corrective actions • Ability to design and implement scalable system and assurance improvements • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills • Clear and confident communicator, experienced in executive‑level reporting • High attention to detail, professional integrity, and resilience • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability Why Civeo? • Play a key role in a fast growing division and organisation • Work within a collaborative leadership team that values innovation and practical solutions • Access genuine opportunities to influence national-level systems and improvements • Enjoy wellbeing initiatives, including confidential counselling through our EAP • Access generous employee discounts across hundreds of retailers via The Civeo Hive About Us Civeo Australia, a division of Civeo Corporation, provides workforce accommodation services globally.
