Reporting into the Project Manager - Rental & Safety Services the new Safety Technician (“ST”) will be based at our Notting Hill head office in Victoria. The ST is to play a crucial role in providing operational support and service to customers, ensuring the delivery of Rental & Safety Service offers to a high standard. Key responsibilities include: Assist in mobilisation, operation, and demobilisation of Safety Service projects in line with procedures; Coordination of safety service deployments, ensuring resources are aligned with project needs; Collaborate with clients to understand safety requirements for specific projects; Perform maintenance, testing, and issue troubleshooting for safety products and equipment to meet customer requirements, escalating to senior team members as required; Deliver certified training courses to internal and external customers; Provide written documentation for operating time, performance records, and project progress; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following qualifications, skills, and experience: Relevant safety related qualifications; 1 years’ experience in a similar technical role; Ability to develop knowledge of our safety products and services; Strong customer focus, ability to identify their needs, and ways to satisfy them; Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications, PointOut, and CRM; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and; Excellent problem-solving, analytical, negotiating, facilitation, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
