On behalf of Holliers Transport Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Company Manager to join their leadership team and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organisation. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Direct daily transport operations across NSW, VIC and SA to meet delivery timeframes and service standards. Plan and control the allocation of drivers, fleet, equipment and subcontractors for the region, coordinating with interstate operations to ensure consistent outcomes. Monitor fleet performance and KPIs (utilisation, productivity, service exceptions) and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency. Recruit, train and supervise transport staff; manage performance and workforce planning to maintain operational coverage. Ensure compliance with relevant transport and safety legislation and company policies; oversee maintenance and inspection procedures. Manage key client relationships for the region and handle escalations to resolution. Monitor regional budgets and costs and implement initiatives to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a comparable Transport Company Manager (or equivalent operational management) role. Demonstrated leadership and people management capability, including supervising and developing operational teams. Proven ability to manage operational budgets, cost control, and profitability outcomes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, drivers, and internal teams. Sound understanding of transport and logistics regulations, compliance obligations, and industry best practice. Relevant qualification at Diploma level or higher (or equivalent industry experience). Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $100,000 - $143,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
