We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team in Broadbeach. More about this role: You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services across our national operations, processing weekly and fortnightly payrolls while supporting Labour Hire and award interpretation requirements. This is a hands-on payroll position suited to someone confident managing end-to-end processes and responding to payroll queries across a large workforce. In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are: Deliver accurate, end-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls across a national workforce Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance checks to ensure accuracy and legislative adherence Manage new starter onboarding and employee data across multiple systems, maintaining data integrity at all times Interpret awards and agreements, applying pay rate adjustments and employment variations correctly Process superannuation, leave accruals, overpayment recoveries and associated payroll transactions Administer WorkCover reimbursements and support statutory compliance reporting Provide payroll support for Labour Hire employees nationally Maintain secure, compliant payroll records in line with internal policies and legislative requirements Respond to payroll queries promptly, delivering clear and professional support to employees and stakeholders What do you need to be successful in securing this role? A minimum 2 years Payroll experience A strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and award interpretation and the confidence to apply it A meticulous eye for detail and genuine pride in getting it right the first time Solid Excel skills and comfort working across multiple payroll and HR systems The ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment A proactive mindset.
