We are seeking an experienced Mine Engineer on an 8/6 or 12/9 roster, residential in Charters Towers or DIDO. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled mining engineer with underground drill & blast experience and the ability to mentor and guide others. About the Role As a Mine Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in the planning and execution of underground mining activities. Key responsibilities include: • Drill and blast design and implementation • Explosives management, ordering, and stocktake • Preparation of backfill and weekly mine plans • Data entry, reporting, and analysis (daily/weekly/monthly) • Supporting Supervisors and underground operations • Conducting inspections of underground workings • Regular engagement with stakeholders to review and improve mine plans What You'll Bring • Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) • 1-7 years’ underground production engineering experience • Proficiency with Deswik and Microsoft Office suite • Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills • Sound understanding of drill & blast design.
