Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hairdresser to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver professional hair services, maintain sanitation standards, assist with salon operations, and provide advice to clients on hair care and styling. Key Responsibilities : Advising clients on hair care options, styling choices, and suitable beauty products. Shampooing, conditioning, and treating clients’ hair and scalps according to client needs. Applying colour, straightening, and permanent wave treatments safely using chemical solutions. Cutting and shaping hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and other professional tools. Creating specialty styles including braids, dreadlocks, and adding hair extensions. Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches with precision. Maintaining cleanliness by sanitising workstations, tools, and equipment. Scheduling appointments, taking client bookings, and processing payments. Providing services for wigs and hairpieces including cleaning, colouring, cutting, and styling as needed. Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a Hairdresser in a salon or similar environment. Proficiency in cutting, colouring, styling, and chemical hair treatments. Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation standards, and safe operation of hairdressing equipment. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and recommend appropriate hair services. Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
