Electrical Site Supervisor Devonport & North-West Tasmania Full Time | Local or FIFO/DIDO Genus Group - Delivering Critical Energy Infrastructure Join a Landmark Energy Project We're hiring experienced Electrical Site Supervisors to help lead electrical construction on the North-West Transmission Developments (NWTD) - a major infrastructure upgrade that will support Tasmania's renewable energy future. The Opportunity As Electrical Site Supervisor, you'll be the on-the-ground leader of HV substation works - responsible for coordination, compliance, quality, and team performance across greenfield and brownfield sites. You'll work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, directly impacting the success of this critical national energy project. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily electrical installation activities: HV, LV, primary/secondary, and auxiliary systems Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and trades to meet schedule milestones Ensure full compliance with AS/NZS standards, client specifications, and Genus quality systems Lead WHS initiatives: toolbox talks, site inductions, lock-out/tag-out protocols, and incident reporting Manage electrical works in operational substations with strict adherence to permit and isolation procedures Track and report on daily site performance, productivity, and documentation Required Qualifications & Experience Cert III in Electrotechnology (minimum) Valid A-Grade Electrical Licence (Tas) 5 years in electrical supervision, ideally in substation environments Strong understanding of AS/NZS standards, WHS, and QA systems Current White Card, C-Class Licence, and First Aid CPR Fit-for-work, able to operate in remote and physically demanding environments Highly Regarded (Desirable) Cert IV in Building & Construction Supervision Fibre splicing/testing certifications Knowledge of HV GIS, HV testing, and substation commissioning Familiarity with ACONEX or similar PM software What We Offer A role on one of Tasmania's most significant energy projects FIFO from any capital city or DIDO/local project options Competitive pay and site conditions - accommodation and meals provided Genuine career development in HV leadership and commissioning A team that lives its values: Integrity, Safety, Collaboration, Innovation, Mateship We value diversity.
