This is a practical, boots-on-the-ground role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys working both in the lab and onsite. In this hands-on role, you will: Conduct accurate physical coal sample collection from mechanical sampling systems and within a CHPP environment, ensuring strict turnaround times are met Receive, record, analyse, report, sort and store coal samples with a high level of accuracy Operate analytical and sample preparation equipment (manual and automated) Plan and coordinate shift workflow, including sample pick-ups and testing schedules Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting and basic fault diagnostics on laboratory and preparation equipment Ensure full compliance with analytical methods, site procedures and Quality Systems
